1. What is emakeup?
Emakeup is a modern Internet magazine for women, devoted to the whole spectrum of make-up art and styling.
Emakeup is also the first interactive magazine for women, which contains animated pages, instructional films, hyperactive links, surveys and on-line competitions and tools which give the readers the ability to communicate with the editors and actively co-edit the magazine.
In each issue of the emakeup magazine you will find: professionals’ advice, reports from catwalks, independent consumer tests of color cosmetics and e-Academy – detailed make-up lessons containing precise descriptions and presentations of make-up techniques, step-by-step photos, instructional drawings and a lot of other incredibly interesting information and tips.
2. With how many computers can I use emakeup?
emakeupmagazine can be downloaded onto the hard disc of only one computer of your choice. An e-mail containing a special link which will enable you to download the purchased issue of the magazine will be sent to the e-mail address given by you after you pay the price of one issue. When you start the installation process your computer will be automatically authorized.

4. Do I have to install special software first to be able to read emakeup?
No, you don’t, because emakeup magazine is in the form of an EXE file, which is not associated with any software for reading it. In order to open the magazine, you just have to click twice on the magazine icon.
5. How long does it take to download the magazine onto the hard disc?
Emakeup contains a large number of pages, high quality photos and instructional films, which makes the process of downloading last a dozen or so minutes or even longer depending on the speed of the Internet connection. The expected time necessary to finish the downloading process will be displayed on the computer screen.
6. Is a 56K modem fast enough to download the emakeup magazine?
Yes, it is. However, the time of downloading may be longer. It is advisable to use a permanent Internet connection to ensure proper functioning and use of all the magazine functions.
7. Can I read emakeup on the computer without being connected to the Internet?
It is necessary to be connected to the Internet to download emakeup magazine. Reading the magazine does not require any connection with the Net, but it limits a few of its functions, e.g. the possibility to exchange e-mails with our experts, voting in the emakeup contests, etc.

10. What happens if I lose all the data as a result of formatting my disc?
Yes, you can download the lost issues of the magazine which you have paid for again at any time. In order to do that, go to www.emakeup.eu and then click on Download again section (located in the menu in the bottom right corner of the home page). Enter the same e-mail address which you provided us with while ordering the lost issue in the form. After verifying your application an e-mail with the links for all the issues you have purchased will be again sent to your e-mail account.
Important! You can download emakeup magazine again only on the disc of the same computer on which you read the magazine before.
11. Information that the system has discovered a virus appeared on the screen after I clicked on the activation link. What does it mean and what shall I do?
Some antivirus programs block EXE files. If you have such software installed on your computer, a warning message about downloading dangerous files will appear on the screen. Then you have to click on the button that allows you to download emakeup. You can also declare in the parameters of your antivirus software that the emakeup application is "safe" and then the program will not block it in the future (look for precise instructions in the help section of your antivirus software).
12. Are any issues of emakeup free of charge?
Yes! The first issue of emakeup BETA 2007 is free of charge, thanks to which you will be able to see for yourself how much interesting and useful information there is on every page of our magazine. 13. How can I order emakeup?
To order a single issue, you have to pay for it using the PayPal payment system. More information can be found on www.e-makeup.eu.
14. How much time will pass between when I pay and when the activation link is sent to my e-mail address?
The time of waiting for the activation link depends on the type of payment which you choose, but it will definitely be sent as soon as the publisher receives a confirmation of the money transfer.
15. What information is collected and used by the publisher?
During the authorization process the program attached to emakeup magazine sends to the publisher’s server information with the code generated on the basis of the computer user’s settings. This code is used only for verifying the authorization, but it does not allow for describing particular computer parameters.
16. What personal data is collected by the payment service company and by the publisher?
All personal data provided in order to transfer money for the emakeup magazine is stored on the servers of the company servicing PayPal payments. The data is used only for verifications of payments made by clients.
The publisher of emakeup magazine stores only the personal data that is necessary for completing the order and supplying the purchased issue of the magazine to the readers.
